Shinji Fukukawa is the current Chairman of the Machine Industry Memorial Foundation and is a member of the Trilateral Commission.  Mr. Fukukawa is former First Secretary to Prime Minister Ohira, Vice Minister of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI - now the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), and was President of the Dentsu Research Institute, and Executive Advisor to Dentsu Inc.  Mr. Fukukawa has also served as a Board Member of The Japan Fund, the U.S. - Japan Foundation, the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development, and the Japan-China 21st Century Committee, and is currently Chair of the Anaheim University Executive Advisory Board.
