National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC) Request For Qualifications

The Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR) is soliciting statements of qualifications from entities interested in providing services to PICHTR in support of the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC) at the University of Hawaii. Interested parties should submit a statement of qualifications which must include a list and biographies of Key Personnel (minimum of 3), corporate qualifications, and past performance to execute on the work. The subcontracted work will involve the following services:

  1. Operate NDPTC office and deliver training in Hilo, Hawaii;
  2. Provide course modules and Subject Matter Expert consultation services to assist NDPTC in the development of a course in the planning, design, and construction of hurricane resistant structures and communities;
  3. Develop a course on the assessment of damage and needs related to response, relief, and recovery following natural disasters; and,
  4. Develop a course on the support of communications functions before, during, and after natural disasters.

This RFQ will be open until July 11, 2011. Statement of Qualifications received prior to noon, Hawaii Standard Time, July 11, 2011, will be considered by PICHTR. PICHTR reserves the right to amend, extend or re-release this RFQ. The period of performance for subcontractor support is anticipated to be 18 months.
