Jennifer Goto Sabas

Ms. Jennifer Goto Sabas is the owner of Kaimana Hila, a consulting sole proprietorship.  Ms. Sabas also holds the position as Director of the Daniel K. Inouye Institute Fund, Executive Director of Move Oahu Forward, Consultant to Military Affairs Council at the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, and Washington Consultant for the University of Hawaii (UH).

As the Washington Consultant for the UH, Ms. Sabas works to enhance federal research portfolio in the areas of national expertise; oceanography, astronomy, renewable energy; and search for new opportunities in other areas such as big data and cyber, biosciences and health.  She is in contact with the executive branch departments and agencies, congressional members and committee staff.

From January 1993 to February 2013, she was Chief of Staff for the late U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye’s Hawaii and Washington, DC offices.  Under Senator Inouye, Ms. Sabas managed the staff, legislative agendas on all areas important to Hawaii, and was a political confidant to the Senator, serving as campaign and political lead in Washington, DC and Hawaii.
