Lori Leong has over 15 years of experience with government relations, federal contracts reporting and management, coordination of federal program operations, and private-sector management focusing on human resources and operations. As HTDV/HREDV Office Coordinator, she oversees all federal report development, tracking of funding and technology commercialization outcomes and reports to funding agencies including the Office of Naval Research and U.S. Department of Energy. Her work in planning and executing technology commercialization and transfer events includes the annual PICHTR signature event, Tech Enterprise, that features subject matter experts and representatives of the federal science and technology commercialization, and testing and evaluation community.
Prior to joining PICHTR, Ms. Leong was with the State of Hawaii Office of Planning in Washington, D.C., where she coordinated operations and events supporting the Hawaii business and government communities’ interaction with federal agencies and the Hawaii Congressional delegation. Ms. Leong’s private sector experience includes government relations and human resource management for Norweigan Cruise Line America which was launched in Hawaii as an economic recovery and job creation initiative of American Hawaii Cruises with Senator Daniel K. Inouye’s support.
Ms. Leong graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in English, and has extensive program completion in Project Management, Government Contracting, and Government Cost Accounting courses.
